About the role:

Our production planners are responsible for planning the manufacture of finished goods and subassemblies for our global customers across the BSC plant network. This position provides the opportunity to own and improve production planning processes, tools and systems. Our production planners are passionate about continuous improvement. Use your knowledge, skills and passion to help improve the quality, cost and delivery of Boston Scientific medical devices for our customers and patients across the globe.

Boston Scientific production planning activities are focused on meeting customer service objectives while always assuring a continuous production flow. In addition to supporting, monitoring and maintaining service level, production planners manage manufacturing schedules to balance Supply, Demand & Inventory to achieve overall materials management team objectives. Production planners participate on cross-functional teams to support and plan Commercial production across the Coyol site.

You're Responsabilities include:

• Planner area.
• Manage daily, weekly and monthly planning processes.
• Conduct production planning to effectively comply with product requirements, maintaining a balance between the clients’ requirements and the site´s efficiency and inventory level.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Establish an actual, reachable, and acceptable Production Plan.
• Proactively identify and problem solve material shortages impacting the build plans.
• Obtain an effective use of labor and equipment.
• Facilitate weekly execution management reviews.
• Achieve timely communication with operative areas (Production, Purchasing, etc.) with direct influence on their functions, and with the entire organization in general.
• Follow up on the production plan through defining appropriate quantities, distribution and times in order to achieve maximum operative efficiency.
• Participate in the MRB (Material Review Board) as required.
• Perform the capacity requirement analysis, with a monthly frequency as minimum .
• Weekly and monthly reports on Production Plan´s control and monitoring.
• Establish “special” schedules, such as overtime, trainings, meetings, etc. within the production plan.
• Actively lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• May eventually have personnel under his/her supervision, where he/she will be responsible for their management, supervision and organization

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor or Licenciature degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• English Level: 80-89%.
• Experience: At least 5 years
• Desired knowledge: APICS Certification Desirable, Inventory, Microsoft Office, SAP, Power BI.
